We are in the process of transforming our old run down courtyard into a greened desirable space to be in. It will eventually incorporate trees, a variety of grasses, and some educational space. We were recipients of a grant from Lowes to make this all happen for our students. Thank you Lowes and all the other professionals, people and businesses who have been so generous in helping this project come to fruition.

The Starting Point
Lipman Middle School located in Brisbane California was recently awarded a grant from Lowes Toolbox
for Education to make an outdoor classroom. While we had many fabulous ideas we also needed to work within our budget – and the overall courtyard needed to be improved at the school. We worked through several desires and realized the gap between what we wanted and what we could afford was huge.
